Conference or Corporate Event Packages

A presentation, a product launch, an in-depth discussion, a strategic get-together, an off-site meeting – all business meetings are much more enjoyable in the beautiful surroundings of Swanendele Inn. Far away from hectic office life, time to collaborate, gain new understanding, solve problems – atmosphere really does make a difference. And we will supply you with coffee throughout as well as a working lunch and closing dinner.  Audio-visual equipment is available on request. Do you need something special? To make planning and budgeting easy, we outline several “Indicative” packages to start our conversation. Costs vary depending on site and options selected and number of participants. 

Weekend Events & Catering

For any event with 8 participants or more scheduled at Swanendele Inn on a weekend, all eight guest suites and rooms must be booked for a two-night minimum stay in addition to the facility fee and damage deposit. Persons signing the event contract are responsible for full payment of all eight rooms at the time of reservation. 

Larger events and/or multi-course lunches or dinners for groups over 16 participants, will generally require outside catering to be arranged strictly through Swanendele Inn. Clients may request or recommend a specific caterer, but we cannot guarantee we can comply with your wishes. Our decision will be based on the appropriateness of suggested catering considering Swanendele’s image and site,  contractual arrangements, including insurance, prior experiences, reputation, and site requirements. 

Conference and Event Rooms

The imposing main building of the Swanendele offers almost endless possibilities. There are many private and intimate options: the outdoor Garden Pavilion with 360 degrees views, the Sun Porch with weather protection but still, great water views, the Seahawk Lounge for learning, debating, or relaxing, the Mulberry Tree Conference Room for board or small group discussions or the more formal Innkeepers Table  Dining Room for upscale lunches or dinners or small group meetings with elegance and great views.   

 

Should you decide to stay over, spend the evening in luxury, surrounded by colleagues and friends. Hold your meeting in an inspiring location where difficult decisions are approached in an atmosphere promoting consensus, suddenly decisions seem easier to reach! 

The Garden Pavilion

A beautiful, stylish space, under the roof but gloriously outside. As they gaze out over the wetlands, the gardens, St. Jerome’s Creek, and the Chesapeake Bay beyond, your guests will be enthralled and relaxed. Ready to enjoy or work! The Pavilion lends itself very well to informal discussions, informal lunches, and the perfect place to enjoy a drink in good company on a warm summer’s day. All events need just that little more space. Ideal for a private meeting, lunch, or dinner for up to 40 persons.
